Well...In the future there can be paints and forcefields that repell dirt..... Not to mention that some cars have massive air intakes that can easily get clogged... I dont know. I want dirt. But i think it should be more like hazard than just visual. You catch some dirt with intake and your engines ...

Meh...Hovers are no GRIP. They have totally different physics...And there are many of futuristic racing games filled with hovers. I dont want to see any in Grip. And im neutral about police cars. You can just PAINT your car black and white and be good with it. If Devs add "decals" and gaba...

TBH i would prefer more....mechanical way to get car back on track. Like "loader" drone shooting you with magnet harpoon and dragging your car back on track. In a rude way.
But that is unlikely to happen because teleportation is so much easier.

The only thing that i dont really like is lack of visual "teleportation" effects. And no, i dont think that "invulnerability" after using "car reset" is a good idea. Can be useful to have teleportation "charge bar" that will fill while holding "reset"...

I like Repair drones idea. So HAWKEN. And i also think that repairing should not be always possible. For example, tunnel parts of the track and other tight spaces should disable repairing. Speed limit should be a thing too. And i would prefer drones to fly in, rather than being deployed by car itsel...

Yeah that would be great.

I would also like to see some sort of carrier ship that transports all those cars from planet to planet instead of loading screen.

Or you can remove boost pickups and add button to turn unwanted pickup into boost energy (hold that button then use unwanted pickup to boost)

I liked that feature in "SkyDrift".

I would like to see rocket laucher hatch on every car (should be marked by "physical hazard" stripes) . There are only machine gun "barrels" visible. Also, machine gun have "tracking" feature. Yet barrels dont look like they can rotate. Shell ejection holes should also ...

You mean autopilot, right? Coz "ghost" is pretty much impossible in multiplayer. Rockets will not let your ghost stay ghostly enough.

Anyway,I thing its not a good idea. Races are not that long...and if you are not sure that you can complete your race, dont start it.

I also suggest you to keep lines as thin as possible. Otherwise these will obstruct distant objects . Honestly i dont really mind current "boxes". They have that military charm. All they need is some animations. Would be also rad to have multiple hud versions for different car manufacturer...

^ yeah, remove constant animation. Make it expand as car get closer to the mine. Though im not really sure mines should be marked via HUD. I had no problem detecting them before ...and now it just mess with rocket lock-on system. Maybe make it optional? I just prefer less overlaping marks on the scr...

Instead of wasting fuel on making 3d dudes and voicing them... Why not just show Custom avatar when your "character" adress someone? Add CUSTOM taunts and replies that can be assigned to several actions and its super good. Example : You attach "Ouch!" to "being hit by rocket...

JUMP POWERUP.

To jump over someone (combined with boost) or to get to the ceiling. Can be used to reach hidden tunnels and such.

Drum n bass for racing. But for menu and such there can be anything. For example i would prefer "Crash city" to be online multiplayer lobby theme.

Also, "Pull the trigger" by Black Sun Empire and State of Mind is veeeery GRIPey. Like...Totally.

It looks like wheels are not even connected to car. There is that "blue plasma" field that holds wheels there. It also serves as suspension... And i guess it prevents gearbox issues by releasing wheel-to-gearbox connection for a moment.... And thrusters are used as exaust....and maybe engi...

You just do 180 J turn (police turn). Its faster than U turn and works great in Grip.

Or we can have special ability called "flipper" that will detonate explosive charges under your front wheels, flipping your car vertically.

No need for unnecessary, weird a$$ tech here.
