I voted for the third option, although I must say, driving the tanks especially I could have also gone with the 4th option. Greatly increasing acceleration is something that could improve this game a ton. The question remains how this would affect the balancing / closeness of the pack. Maybe it will...

Actually, you should be good to approximate just the standard dirac delta. The only thing it has to satisfy is to equal one when integrated over. The factor for correct division / multiplication is already accounted for, no matter how badly you approximate the Dirac delta. See http://mathworld.wolfr...

Missile targeting is off in mirror mode (resolution dependend ?)

Since mirror mode came out, my targeting crosses were off as seen here:

The car I'm aiming at is the one in front of me to the left but the cross is all the way to the right.

My resolution is 1680x1050, so it's propably a bug with that.

You are right, the air control bug is fixed. However the targeting bug is not. I'll open a new thread.

Little heads up that the targeting glitch is still in the 1.0.10 private release branch. Didn't have time to check the air control but something definitely still seemed off.

When driving on industrial I noticed that in the banked corner section after the two tunnels the race barrier is really narrow, like a half circle over the racetrack. I'd like to add that the targeting cross of the missiles is also off in mirror mode as it tracks the nonexisting mirrored car. What is weird to me is that in this video:

it seems to work just fine with mirrored and reverse mode on.
