Since the homing type missiles seems to be still in trouble with catching players in curves, wouldn't giving it a bigger AOE effect help?

I hope, some time later, you introduce flame effects on the tracks too, so those exploding barrels would have some use already by producing some nice flame curtains, blocking the vision for the ones in front of it. Aside from being awesome as visuals ofc.

How about making the mine a bit more interactive with the track? Like placed on a speedpad, the speedpad would enchance it's trigger area, and destructive effect? Or have it magnetised, so while placed around barrels, it would pull them in, and trigger those too, along with the debris?

Some feedback for Boost:

- The screen shaking effect under boosting is great, i'd tweak it for a bit smaller amplitude, on a higher frequency, and give it a little bit of extra FOV extension, while under effect, for an immersive speeding feeling.

Is there a need for the first horizontal platform's downside fence? You have a whole safety platform under it, to fall on. The sidewall shortcut is rather hard to access with that ramp too, and with next to none reward. Maybe connect it to the underside of the platform, and have it return to the main road from there?

Some tire track marks in the sand with a bit of a pitting, especially on the routes after the ship, and under the bridges would really helpful, indicating the optimal path. It's nice to have a water splash effect, really! But could it be modified to be more dense and white? Something similar to this...

Those affected by the ramraider maybe could have a linear blur effect originating it's direction from the push source.

Ya see, I do agree with the more natural look of track assets, but since they still have to modify the base flow on a lot of the tracks, I guess it's just a lot easier to use the same assets, ramps and track platforms everywhere.
