Re: Rollcage Extreme

Yeah this image is also on the official Rollcage Stage 2 website http://www.rollcagestage2.com/ (go in Dev (the Q&A button) -> Developer Information) Warpspeedmrsulu basically doubles the game speed. It's a bit funny to use, but good luck winning a tournament with that Only double? More like 3-...

I have a fabulously underpowered 1280x600 netbook with a single core Atom CPU and Windows XP. Might be worth a try?

Re: Grip won't start

Might also be worth clearing out any dependency files that are trying to be executed, so that they either get skipped / re-downloaded. TikiONE is pretty useful for this, and gives you granular control over what you do / don't remove. Doesn't damage anything, as things that are needed just get re-dow...

Rollcage Extreme

So, I can't play GRIP super smoothly on my laptop, but Rollcage Extreme works great. Except when I enable pretty much every cheat at once. Thats: mynameisneo, inversion, warpspeedmrsulu, metropolis, givemetheguysback, itisiwhoammad, billythewhizz, snar. I got slightly thrown by warpspeedmrsulu (kind...

Re: Grip 1.1.1 Hotfix - Somethin' ain't right...

Ok, glad it's no longer an issue. I got the same problem. GTX1060 and i should have 60 fps with vsync on. I should coz i checked it, and sometimes it goes under 30. You should look into that. I am interested in why would you use vsync? I personally just hate it, creates often times input lag and dr...

Re: Calling all badass mofos - top o da foodchain

I'll say this. If my name can't be on the start-line "list of names" then I'd like an advertising board floating around the tracks somewhere in a TV advert style, listing various sponsor names as stars of the show or something. Might be quite amusing / funny.

Re: Manufacturer logo

Perhaps a conglomerate style super corrupt business sponsors a team or owns a team? Could be the morally dubious "pay-to-win" team that tries to rig the races or something, to make for a enchantingly talented and aggressive AI opponent?

Re: Your ghost as a substitute when you need to leave the controller for a moment

I'm more interested in this from a technical / networking perspective. It sounds nice on paper, but realistically, is very challenging to implement. The original proposition of the ghost time being sent to the server when the game is paused, this just isn't feasible in a race scenario. PayDay2 has a...

Re: Are you the developers of FIREBUGS ?

I've seen some gamyplay of rollercage... But I'm replaying my old titles such as Driver, Driver 2, Crash Bandicoot 3 Warped, ... And firebugs, of course. Rollcage* Firebugs was supposed to be Rollcage Stage 3 until they decided to reach a younger audience (kids) with a Rollcage-like game. You will ...

Re: NVIDIA 3D Vision

Hi, anybody tried NVIDIA 3D vision with this game? I just did, got 3D effect in menu but not a bit in a race, just weird color filter :) The game is not designed for or capable of 3D at this time. It may or may not be a feature that is enabled in the future, but for now I'd count it lucky that anyt...

There are times when I just feel that "so fast" isn't nearly fast enough. Perhaps some more speed? Maybe even the fabled Neo mode, but with even more craziness?

Re: Play without Steam

To build on what the lovely and super friendly potterman is saying, you can even add a shortcut on the desktop that will launch the game directly, by opening steam. And Steam is pretty easy to control as well. Theoretically, it's possible to have the game installed and managed via steam, and run it ...

Bizarrely, no. Either nVidia drivers are being a monumental penis, or Grip was having a non-conformative evening. It was, special, to say the least. Average amount of swearing though. I was too tired to get a really good mouth froth going...

Ok, having gone away, come back, downloaded the nVidia drivers to my Linux server in France and then to my PC (which actually works, don't ask me why, I need to shout at my ISP) and installed the updated version, performance is back to normal. Maybe there was something screwy in the way my PC booted...

Grip 1.1.1 Hotfix - Somethin' ain't right...

I dunno man, I'm struggling to play right now. As I said to Xirahii: "(it) runs like a pile of liquid 5#!7 on an ice rink of bouncy balls". Compare it to my previous reports, and it boils down to either something being wrong with my PC (which seems unlikely given other games run without a ...

Re: i5 2500k 4.5GHz & GTX 1070 2GHz

I don't know what PyreX is. If you mean PhysX; Crysis doesn't use PhysX, so adding another GPU to my system would literally have zero impact on the game (also: the 1070 is more than powerful enough to run anything PhysX related by itself, even on top of rendering jobs). Getting so pissed off this w...
