Yeah UE4 handles particles strangely. We're having a hard time optimizing, but that could come down to us missing something. the wheels spinning on an incline rarely happens on the track though, yea? GPGPU Physics calculations?

Maybe for destructibles anyone? Right now it only seems to be cpu based causing major bottlenecks. Even my friends 6700k/gtx980ti behemoth loses 50fps in my favorite physics litmus test (crashing into the glass/pillars on the playground level)

Playground is a dev testing map so it doesnt follow the typical map rules. Playground pickups are not pickups, they are "targets" and collecting one will knock your target counter down by one. I guess the goal of playground is to collect all of them within the shortest amount of time, but ...

That actually isnt a missing texture, it looks like the model is only half a model. Games use model clipping like that to save resources. Why render the entire rock if youre only going to see half of it? Unfortunately that rock seems to have been misplaced or rotated strangely. Good find though!

Yeah the camera is far too low when the car is in the air, it would be nice for it to FoV out and look down on the car so you can actually see what youre doing, instead of having the camera try to bury itself into the ground like some terrified desert gopher
