I am also beginning to notice that the AI is extremely slow on this track (on wild power), but I suppose that would probably also be something to address when the track is more finalized.

Oh, so it does. :) It was mostly happening to my nephews, which makes sense. It begs the question though, why is slow-mo a feature? It's a rather bizarre feature in almost any game.

Today I tried playing this track in reverse, and it seems to work just fine for the most part. So when it is finished, I hope you will also release a reverse version.

It doesn't have to be a dam, per se (which would have a river running through it, which would make little sense on an island). It can just be a levee.

I have a fabulously underpowered 1280x600 netbook with a single core Atom CPU and Windows XP. Might be worth a try? Um... Go for it, I guess... But my guess is you won't have enough VRAM (or shared RAM) to start the game at all. I experimented on my computer and I couldn't get the VRAM usage below ...

I love that Islands has multiple routes and visually it's a strong map. Despite this, it's very boring to drive on. I didn't think about it until now, but I think Broscar nailed it. Oh yes, one more thing I remembered. At the 3-way split I commented on earlier, the path to the right is really easy to fall off of because of how it corkscrews. I don't know if this was by design.
