Re: Favourite cars

No DLC cars because if it is cars then it will be a mandatory purchase, especially for multiplayer. To me it smells too much like pay to win. There are other ways to allow the players to express their gratitude with cash. Cosmetic micro transactions are one fine example. One of the ARPGs, Path of Ex...

Re: Favourite cars

I still cannot decide which car is my favorite. But I lean towards Eversor because it does not suck at any driving statistic in particular. In terms of looks and engine sound, I prefer the ones that are inspired by nowdays sports cars. But, please, do not even think about cars as dlc. Please, just d...

Re: Difficulty suggestion.

I guess the distinction between the difficulty setting and the engine power setting is beginner unfriendly. I had to google what the hell did this engine power on AUTO setting do. Separating it into AI difficulty, driving assists and, perhaps, engine power would clear the things up. BTW, are we havi...

Re: My 2 cents for increasing the fun factor

I agree with the strangeness of the slow motion feature. For me it is so weird and the contrast between it and normal speed of things is so great that I ended up avoiding using the slo-mo. I lose focus because of it and crash very often. I guess this feature should retain some of the game's twitchin...

Re: Dizzy, Disoriented Driver

And how about a sphere or whatever shape the container would have is filled with liquid that dampens the excessive g-force? Think about something less about metal and turning parts, and more about bio-mechanical contraption.

Re: Terrible Doodle Schematic - ''Tower'' Track Component

I nice idea IMO. The speed gained at point 5 would be absurdly high, I guess. :D The tracks in general could use some insanely brutal changes in terrain height/elevation in general. I think there is a similar track section on Transport reverse, except that at point 3 on your drawing the cars are lau...

Re: Multiplayer now live on all Steam branches!

These things can stick to the roof without an issue, why does a going from flat to downhill through a slight curve suddenly cause front end lift? Or turning the wheels on a flat surface start with understeer before the tyres bite in? I could understand it behaving like that when you're upside down ...

Re: POLL: Let's talk about vehicle acceleration off the line and the ability to get back in the race

Speaking about the ability to get back in the race nowadays: I recently started selecting the more agile rigs with more acceleration even for tracks that seem to be designed for more high-speed circuits/tracks with fewer sharp turns. That's because it's easier to catch up with the opponents after yo...

Re: So... is there a connection between planets?

Or we could go one step farther and a binary (or more, if the realism is screwed) planet system could be considered. This would present some awesome landscapes. If anyone had the time to look at the sky while dodging rockets and driving on walls, that is...

Re: So... is there a connection between planets?

The planets in the sky are so big because GRIP universe is just a simulation. The civilization that plays with the cars already transcended the tangible universe. Damn, I knew something was wrong with this game...

Re: Slow motion - juicin' it!

I only recently discovered the key for slow motion and... it sucks really hard. Somehow it's either too slow or the transition from it back to the normal motion is to steep. Each time I activated it, I ended up teleported back on track or ramming into an obstacle. It totally makes me lose my focus. ...

Re: Dizzy, Disoriented Driver

Right, there are no drivers in the rigs, at least they are not human. The idea of the cars being those giant RC tanks is really appealing. If a civilization has the energy and tech needed to transport (teleport?) the rigs between planets and star systems they should have equally developed miniaturiz...

Re: Some weapons, especially mines are boring

I am genuinely moved by your drawings, especially the starry explosions ;) Mines - instead of what you suggest, I would rather have them act as rocket decoys for a very limited time (a fraction of a second?) after deployment, and then they would become just ordinary mines. They could even emit some ...

Double-tapping would be more intuitive in terms of knowing whether the respawn action is actually registered. Right now it's hard to tell for how long should the button be held. You can always make a poll out of it.
