Re: Track Variety

Interesting, i had no idea the resources cost more for a point-to-point track! I certainly hope you'll have the availability to either design or test out a track like this, but if it would take too much time or effort out of something that needs more attention or something you'd rather do, by all me...

Re: With our thanks

Hey guys, i know how important this project is to you, but if at all possible take care of yourselves! I'd hate to find out that your health is failing just because i/we couldn't be patient enough for this game to come out. You guys are doing great and you have our full support, always! Take care of...

Reverse mode vs. Normal mode Difficulty Change

Have you guys noticed how the difficulty of a track seems to change when you play it in reverse? Like for instance; My favorite map is Norvos but i enjoy racing on there even more when i do it in reverse. But i noticed that the difficulty of the track is easier compared to its normal direction when ...

Track Variety

In Burnout 3 on the PS2 there were a few tracks that had a starting point and an ending point within the race, but those two points never connected to each other; it was just a one shot from start to finish. I found that to be an interesting concept. Any chance that sort of thing could be implemente...

Re: GRIP car inspiration image thread

What sort of shapes are we focusing on for this game? The main trend seems to be rectangular, but im sure there could be other geometric shapes that could be played around with. It'd keep things more interesting when the races start up. Like a Delta Wing... http://www.racecar-engineering.com/wp-cont...

Re: Some weapons, especially mines are boring

How about a timed-stickybomb/missile? Hear me out first; Have this bomb/missile target an opponent and hit them, but not explode. Instead, have it stay on them and after maybe 5 seconds or so the explosion goes off. But to add a more interesting dynamic, have the bomb be tradeable. Let's say you've ...

Re: Apprciation

i think a good trend to start would be to say one thing that we just absolutely love about this game,to give the devs a boost in confidence when they're hard at work! I'll start it off (feel free to add to it or say what you enjoy so much!); --the parts of the tracks where we drive into the racing t...

Re: Skytrack - suggestions

I agree with Chris' ideas of these Sky tracks and our City tracks being two separate concepts. Having the sky tracks going through remote, high mountain tops barely being suspended by possibly shoddy constructed suspension wires for holding up the tracks while passing through ominous and stormy thun...

Re: Norvos Volcano Map Concepts

The contrasting colors of the red from the lava and the green from the northern lights looks AMAZING!!! Some driving above ground and driving below (or in the volcano) would add a great amount of visual variety to a track. Plus with the kick ass music playing while racing just makes the thought of t...

Apprciation

To the devs hard at work; I wanted to express my gratitude toward the development team and all who are involved with making this game. I see that you want a lot of feedback from the community to help improve upon your game, but this thread is primarily to let you know how great of a job you guys are...
