All the ideas posted up there, I can agree with them. Personally, I'd give it the looks of the Jahtra planet, with an industrial complex kind of environment.

Also, what about some command line switch that launch the game, skip the videos, and automatically throw you into the game? I want a special button on my PC tower, so that when I press it, GRIP-OS is booted and jumps me into a race right now Screw that, just uninstall Windows and get your PC to run...
