We did intend to have upgradable pickups (discussed in the forum a few times), but potty makes a really good point, in that it really caters to the players in front. Getting a leader missile while in first place lets you launch an immediate counter if luck (or skill) fails you! I don't mind it. And it needs to pass the leader and knock them back! Perfect lap worked beautifully in rollcage and it never really felt like a sure thing because of the skill required to earn. It never felt cheap - though I see the implications would be different in online multi. If the devs can balance it I think it would be a nice addition. Even as an option.

The tank looks so sweet! would it be possible to get a few screens of the current/standard car side by side with the tank. Just to get some perspective on it for comparison? I know we'll see them both on track soon though!!
