I think what might have been missing in Rollcage (well... one of the things) was a sense of scale. I mean... look at the lamp posts, trees, bushes, and other odds and ends. If these things are supposed to have like 6 to 8 foot tall tires... that means those lamp posts are a good 40 to 50 feet tall ...

acceleration, toylike cars, speed - i don't know... for me, its what ever is more fun to play. i think that there is plenty of space and opportunity to work with the mechanics as the are within more content and more diverse content. Indeed Transport could use some alternative routes, even if they're right next to each other. One issue with a track like FIC Outpost or Industrial is that the alternate routes completely separate the racers, and therefore decrease interaction and excitement im not sure about that. the ability to c...

Any chance the barriers in the tunnels, particularly the segmented brick wall ones (that stop you dead), can be removed entirely?? Alternatively replace them with tree roots or vines? I don't really know that much about UE4 but vines/roots could absorb some speed but not stop your rig dead... They c...

cool man :) looks great - needs to be angled or curved in like the top HUD though. And probs no need to have an icon to show when shield is active as when active is visible :)

Rogue and Warlander engine sounds

The Rogue and Warlander engine sounds sound off to me...

To me the pitch and scream of Rogue sounds out of place in GRIP and the Warlander is all over the shop :cry:

each song in rollcage absolutely fits its respective track like a glove and ads to the atmosphere. i agree that considering this for GRIP would be great.

big fan of the wormhole :) and the electricity/ice sheet weapon from RC1 (the one that affects traction/grip) - some equivalents in GRIP would be welcome :)

As for weapon switching - I think the game needs more weapons before this is even considered. more weapons would let us understand better how a final version will play and what balancing and adjustment might be required i.e. switching weapons or dropping, or colour coding weapons.
