Also, let's just deal with getting the game done, game mechanics wise. Once that's done, additional modes of importing community made art works, tracks and car models can be dealt with.

I vote for them being random as well. Also, persistence of pickups will mean that everyone will do the same exact trajectory because they don't have to go out of their way to reach other still available coins.

http://www.cagedelement.com/grip/contact.php In the top right corner of the page there are a different set of round links to social media than the home page of the website. These links do not point correctly to the twitter (profile not found) and facebook pages (it just points to facebook homepage)....

Yeah like, in rc you have blue icons for defensive weapons, red icons for offensive ones.

Probably a bad idea since if you're spinning down a tunnel and have the car in a weird angle, or if you're immersed in smoke and particles, you won't see that. That's why HUDs are common: they're overlaid over the potential mess.

You made the shield as a two piece suit. Interesting. I was thinking about this combined with the homing missiles: are they still going to hit you from the front? Because that would make for a nice twist to your strategy: protect your back asap or wait for another shield to protect you from the next...

We need to be able to set one root server running with a few lobbies so we can do away with port forwarding and people not being able to host for whatever reason their router+ISP combination can manifest.
