[NOT BUG] Mines hit own car while being near them and getting activated by enemy car

When does this happen : while racing in arena mode On which track did it happen : Biodome On which speed did that happen (if related to physics) : Medium How often does this happen : very often How to replicate the steps (if reproducible) : place mine, wait for other car to hit while being near the ...

Re: How devs will handle sugestions from us

Well for now everybody is just throwing out everything that comes to mind after playing the game. I think it would be good to have some milestones or something. We don't know what needs to be done first. The physics changes on the game engine for example are certainly at the highest priority. But wh...

Re: Weight!

This is an arcade racer based on speed, slowing down should be the last option. RC games always ecouraged you to drive at maximum speeds and find the most efficient route on the track to do so. Don't get me wrong there were always parts where you had to slow down a bit to get through, would be borin...

[READ] Wider streets made of asphalt with more grip and better drift ability on the dusty parts

I just can't keep the car on the street for too long. If I do a sudden manouver at normal speed - like avoiding an obstacle - I can't really get the car back on the street. I have to drive through the dusty parts of the track. This behaviour would be good for a normal car, but not for the RC like bi...

Re: Give the cars a bit more suspension?

Yep. That is one of the reasons the cars are sent flying. In RC1 the wheels could travel a great distance to compensate height differences on the track. Thus make stones and other obstacles more forgiving. You can see this best if you start a RC1 game and drive at walking speed over a few stones or ...

Make the turbo go almost instant and make it more controllable

Like seen here: https://youtu.be/WT1Kd8jwOL8?t=5m8s This almost instant turbo gives me a really great feeling. The turbo in the first release just takes too long to get to the peak and thus it misses the moment I needed it at most. And when it is at its peak the car is not anymore controllable. This...

Make the camera behave RC1 style at crashes

As seen here: https://youtu.be/pXfbo9JPM9U?t=2m20s The camera shouldn't follow the car or stay behind the car. It is much easier to get back on the track if the camera behaves like in RC1. It points in the genral direction the car was going at while moving a bit to keep the car in the view, when bac...

Smaller turn radius at low speeds

That big car should turn more quickly so I don't need to reset everytime I make a crash. A smaller turn radius would help there.

Some first impressions ans suggestions for the first relase [11/30/2015]

Hi, first of all: english isn't my first language, so excuse some mistakes and misunderstandings. I also wasn't very active on the forums, so if I mention things that are already plant to be replaced, updated or changed, I'm sorry. I really like the look and feel of it. The start menu fits good into...

Mod support?

I know it is way too early for discussing some things like this. But as far as I know, one needs to built a game from the very beginning with mod support in mind in order to give it mod support.

I'd like to see community created texture packs, cars, power ups, game modes, and other stuff.

Re: Poll: What kinds of pick-ups would you like to see in Grip?

I want that beam from rollcage 2, that freezes your car above the ground in place for a few seconds. Hard to aim but it is just awesome.

Re: Grip Trailer 1 discussion

I love everything that I saw in the trailer, but I don't like the HUD either. It's a very basic HUD. I don't think much focus was on developing it till now, absolutely understandable. The icons don't look that good either, but I can't quite grasp what is wrong with them. They are just a bit too blan...
