Cluttering the suggestions subforum seemed silly to me, so I'll just dump it here.
There's a texture overlay (faux bokeh or something?) in the game and it bugs me a bit. More specifically: this spot drives me up the wall, because while other spots only show up in the right lighting conditions, this one shows up damn near 24/7.

It's visible on both race tracks, but it doesn't appear on the Arena/Playground map.

HNNNGG, ALL OF MY YES
That one spot I singled out is just too bright, thus causing it to get highlighted too often. This together with it's position close to the centre of the screen makes for an eyesore I'd rather post about than silently cringe for months on end every time it stares back at me. (Yes, I'm nitpicking.) The dirt spots at the edges of the texture are perfect in their brightness and with that the rate at which they become visible is much more appropriate.
Edit: It shows surprisingly well in the screenshot I uploaded. Kill that spot before it becomes sentient.
I never noticed that the screen had a 'dirt' overlay (I'm too busy concentrating on driving).
Methinks a dynamic overlay would work better in those instances? Have a bunch of different particle textures/sprites that fade in/out randomly? Probably too much work for something that so far only one person actually noticed xD
Look at the road-holding on these babies. Clarkson would cream himself.
I'll consider making sh*tty Photoshop cards for you too, Chris :p
Same here, TheOnLY.
And K.Mac, to be completely honest, you said yourself you have bad eyesight :'p I'd prefer a dynamic overlay as well, but for now this solution is more than adequate. Perhaps it's worth revisiting at a later time, either because of wide multi-monitor setups, VR or simply because it might be aesthetically more pleasing.
