This thread will be frequently updated with bugs that are currently in the game, as well as their status

Physics (these issues are the hardest to fix, and require meddling with PhysX source code. Please be patient with us!):

Menu:
  • No loading screen when starting a race (Nov 30th 1.0.2) - FIXED -(1.0.3)
  • You get stuck in an inifinite loop when trying to quit the game (http://forum.cagedelement.com/viewtopic ... 3805#p3805)(Nov 30th 1.0.2) -(1.0.2) FIXED
  • The game stutters on the menu, but the game itself runs fine (two people so far) THREAD- NOT FIXED
  • Picking the orange car will get you the green and vice versa. Same with yellow and army green - (1.0.2) NOT FIXED
  • Setting to TXAA doesn't work. Reverts to FXAA -(1.0.2) FIXED
  • Controller not working properly in menu - (1.0.2) FIXED
  • Menu options do not save - (1.0.2) FIXED -(1.0.4)
  • In the game menu, race setup resets to hard difficulty after a race on easy difficulty - (1.0.2) FIXED -(1.0.4)
  • Ambient occlusion can't be turned off - 1.0.5 NOT FIXED
  • Menu screens persist even when changing screens: threadFIXED

I can say that the cars very surely still do this in the currently aviable build

Thanks for the feedback. I haven't experienced this issue in a while.

Is there a specific map you experience it more on, or a specific area? Is the car driving straight into terrain or landing mostly level.

Sometimes if the car is very level and most of it's body collides with the ground, bad stuff will happen

I fell through the track on Industrial earlier tonight. The last wide tunnel (the one with the "Green-lit shortcut" near the beginning of it) that leads to that banked dirt/stone wall - I came flying out of the tunnel at like 600km/h on a turbo and hit the wall at a weird, oblique angle and just went straight through.

Only time it's happened to me there.

I fell off the ceiling in the arena as i wanted to know how slow i can go without falling off (only 80 km/h wtf) and fell right though the floor in two of two tries. Happend on industrial and figure 8 too after high/fast jumps. Usually happens when landing with all 4 tires at the same time

Yeah, I suspected this

The Arena you'll see quite a bit of that, as the car is falling from so high

Hi there, new to the forum but grew up watching the guys at ATD make the RC games and really happy to be part of GRIP. If I can make a suggestion, adding a "build encountered on" and then in the bug list when a bug is fixed put a build number to that, then if a bug rears its head later on people know when the fix happened, people reporting bugs can also check if they have received a fix yet or not. I would also include an OS field in the bug template:) hope this helps and look forward to see this game come together :P

Hi there! My only detected bug is that the shield is unuseful in every gamemodes. It wont take/or reduce my incoming damage and it cannot be destroyed by enemy rockets or miniguns. I dont know if that is my own problem or not.

Yes, this is a well-known bug introduced in 1.0.4 :)

I also experienced this a couple hours ago in 1.0.6 when racing on Alahatra Wastes. It was in the open stretch of the track with all the debris lodged in the sand and the electrical arcs overhead. I activated a booster at a bad angle and flew full-speed into a pole which impaled my car, rendering me unable to move.

Wasn't able to take a screenshot in fullscreen for some reason.

When starting a new race, pressing escape for going into the pause menu before the countdown starts result in the countdown sound still playing.
