Dirt Buildup

Postby Prykie1995 » Tue Jul 25, 2017 1:48 pm

Been thinking about the look of the cars mid race.

On circuits with lots of offroad driving/driving on dirt, would it be possible to add dirt buildup to the surface of the cars and tyres?
Purely for cosmetic reasons, just to add that extra level of grit to the already tense racing.

Perhaps you've already added this a little bit, if so i'd just like to see more of it ;)

There is already dirt on the tyres actually, but would be cool on the hull!
If you want to be grammar nazi to me, just do it, that will improve my english :3

I'd like to anticipate and point out speed doesn't clean a vehicule. Not going into details but dirt request makes sense

+1 attention to details... altought when you go into water, it should wash it away.

Well...In the future there can be paints and forcefields that repell dirt..... Not to mention that some cars have massive air intakes that can easily get clogged...

I dont know. I want dirt. But i think it should be more like hazard than just visual. You catch some dirt with intake and your engines start spitting magma and malfunction for a bit. Sure some dirt should remain on the hull after that.
