As someone might have said already: some kind of gigantic scrapyard could look great.
Another thing i'd love to see, on the Liddo 5 planet maybe, is a forest environment; some kind of dense jungle with shifting routes due to vegetation.

So how about having some kind of pure "red dawn" or Auroras

Yeah, skies play a big part in mood and overall visual quality. Just look at Destiny.

We'll try to get some really cool skies into the levels :)

Meteors? Weather?

Will we be seeing meteors falling like in rc amd other weather effects like rain, snow? How about incorporate natural disasters or strong storms in some parts of tracks like slight flooding, thick snow and ice, tornadoes with strong winds and lightning effects and hail? Or one or the other?

i would love for there to be meteors :p
maybe we could also have ice storms on norvos and sandstorms on Jahtra with lighning storms on Orbital Prime as server-side options before each race

Cool thought.

As always I do like to say about MotorStorm Apocalypse and that it had many cool features:

-Tracks with environmental threats are labeled with " ! " sign, and after each lap the threat becomes bigger.
-Quote "The City houses two factions who will vie for survival, in turn impeding the races that take place."

-Another Quote "Apocalypse's Festival is told from the perspective of three participants, labelled "The Rookie", "The Pro", and "The Veteran", with each participant also representing a difficulty level of gameplay. These three participants each see different parts of the catastrophe unfold over the course of the two-day Festival."

And here I found two videos about Epilogues catastrophic final race: The rookie The pro

So as you see, this game had a potentialy but was release in poor times of Japanese tsunami and Earthqueaks, which cause them delay the release and cut the advertising.

I hope that GRIP can get some inspiration out of it and the idea of riding through apocalypse could be lit up again (atleast as non-league quick race mode for fun)

Actually i really didn't enjoy Motorstorm Apocalypse, the two first episodes were way better (and even better looking) in my opinion. I didn't even finish the game, i got too bored for that. And disappointed because i loved Pacific Rift so much!

There's another game which had shifting tracks on each new lap of the race: Splashdown 2. It's older, once again i liked the first opus more, but i find the changing tracks more interesting than in Motorstorm Apocalypse (like for example the first track was in the Bermuda triangle: you started on a very short track around a nice island, and suddenly were transported in a gigantic ship cemetary).

And Django: i love the images you posted. Isn't the first one something from Blade Runner? It would clearly be cool to have a huge futuristic city!
