Doesn't a big overhead rock crumble into the canyon if it gets shot by a missile in Yuri Industrial, or was that a trailer or something that I'm remembering?

Yeah we took that out as it wasn't very good for flow, plus we can do better

For all its worth, i for one thought it to be pretty cool actually. Only the rocks afterwards were annoying.

+1 - Possible walkaround: make debris destroyable with the gattling/upon contact so they "disappear" along the passing laps?

The debris were annoying indeed, but destroying the upper structure was pretty cool. Surely something can be done about this. In most games the debris just disappear after a few seconds, maybe it could be an option, so that they're annoying for people following right after the destruction, and disappear once everyone has passed.
Maybe local people coming on the track with brooms and stuff to clean the mess after us! :D

I didn't find them annoying. If you find it annoying, just don't shoot it down or use the other route after you shot it, at least that's what I did. It's called consequences :D

As mentioned, true that it would be better for game flow if they would shatter or fly off the track after impact/missile/gattler though.

Well they were not extremely annoying, but i feel maybe the cars should be able to push them around a bit easier (not too easily though, they're not supposed to be light as feathers after all).
Plus if this structure was destroyed, there is always the path on the left that allows to avoid the debris.

The problem is not the debris, but the current car interaction with destructibles. It's clips into them and bounces off, plus other weird things. That needs to be fixed before we can progress with destruction
