Welcome to the Rollcage/GRIP universe :)

If you've never played Rollcage and want to have a look at it, you can download and try Rollcage Redux (Rollcage 1) or Rollcage Extreme (Rollcage Stage 2) :)

Never too late to try them.

On the steam group that potterman runs, we have multiplayer races each saturday. (all skill levels welcome)
Hope we can see some of you there.

Hi!

I'm Dagor, Guido, from The Netherlands and I stumbled upon your game. Never heard of the Rollcage games (I'm ashamed) but GRIP looked awesome and I'm really into agressive arcade racers, so this looked amazing.

How many Dutchies are here?

Is typing dutch in orange obligatory from now on, by the way?

Hey all! My name's wantfastcars, and sometimes VashTheStampede in certain corners of the internet. I like movies, music, anime, video games, and books. Rollcage Stage II (branded as "Death Track Racing" on PC) was one of the first video games I ever played, and I have very fond memories of it. I actually hadn't played the original Rollcage until very recently, and I do think the physics are a bit nicer, but nostalgia is strong. I'm very excited for Grip and I look forward to getting to know you all better in the future.

Rollcage Stage 2 was my first game as well, I grew up with it. The first time I had internet, the first thing I did was looking for a Rollcage 3 or something like that, which linked me to RCX project, but I was too young and stupid to subscribe on such a forum then ^^

I didn't know much about the first Rollcage until I started the Rollcage steam group.
Since then, I play a lot more Rollcage than Rollcage Stage 2 :P
But I won't extend myself on it, there's another topic to discuss Rollcage vs Rollcage Stage 2

Hi all. Rootsrat here from the UK. Rollcage and Rollcage 2 were (are!) my most favourite PSX games ever. I absolutely LOVED them and I played them to death. The combination of fast paced futuristic racing and combat, complimented with amazing d'n'b soundtrack was a perfect game for me. I was very excited to learn about the KS campaign for Grip couple of days ago, and then euqally sad when I read about the cancellation of KS... But then I was happy again when I learned the project is not abandoned!

I have just backed the project to the Tuner level and I'm looking forward to seeing it in action!

See you at the races guys :)

First of all, welcome to the grip forum/community.

While waiting for grip, a lot of us are still playing rollcage on the pc.
So as a fan of the game, you would probably like the multiplayer.
Just look for the steam group.

Hi all.

I'm Steve, but I've been Roq in MMOs for over 10 years now so it's sort of stuck. I'm a forty-something dude from the UK and was lucky enough to have played both RC and RCS2 when they released back in the day (the disks are still knocking about in my parents house somewhere). I've always been so surprised that this game didn't spawn a ton of sequels and a larger fanbase way back when. While all the "cool" kids where playing Wipeout, I was smashin it up in RC.

Needless to say, I am so hype for Grip, I can't even tell you! Thank you guys so much for resurrecting this amazing game in a shiny new form!
