Track Editor (Sky Tracks)

Postby DriftRacer14 » Thu May 18, 2017 8:15 am

I'm not talking about letting us manipulate terrain and such. I just feel like it'd be pretty epic to be able to make skytrack-esque tracks (Basically just track with virtually no actual 'environment). Perhaps it could be somewhat like the Track Editor in Hypersonic.Xtreme [PS2] (Example 1: Example 2: ). I know a Track Editor isn't exactly a core thing but it'd be amazing to be able to make our own tracks and experiment further with just what these monstrous machines are capable of :D
OK, tell it to me straight... in Rollcage Stage II... was Winter Wonderland II even possible to Gold Medal...?

Retreating is Running Away. Falling Back, however, is simply Advancing in a Different Direction.

Indeed, would be awesome to have a track editor in any capacity. We won't know if this is possible until later in the year

Descendent Studios is another team that's working on a UE4-based game and they came up with some solid kind of plan to release a full map and mission editor to their players.
I'm not fully aware of the specifics of what they mean to do, as they've only done a small part of that at the stage of development they're in -- but maybe you can get in contact with them if you want to see how feasible something like that would be?
An odd choice for ship's cat...
Check out my original music at and, or anything else under Vertigo Fox!
