Hi. Let it be the game mode - "Contract!"
Exponentially:
1) Delivery of goods by avoiding pirates, or something like that.
2) Work as pirate, haunt and kept close to the target machine until the progress bar indicator will fill, and the process of hacking a digital Cage is finish . And you have to wriggle out of the fire. And of course you must also mizzle away.
3) Working as killer.
4) The most interesting, in my view, exactly : Version of the game-play, When played by two, on the same Car : a machine gunner and driver. Experience so I have a with Rollcage, still I remember that I even was checked : when you switch to the rear view (for example), made it possible to select a destination for the homing missiles. Add ability to change the missile target, (Alt+Tab like)!

I am a fan of the game since 1999, I am afraid to imagine how many hours I spent playing Rollcage.
The GRIP, I take it as a quantum transition for Rollcage. The difference between them should be as good when compared to the concept, with the already perfect polishing product of the gaming art, or as a film based on a comic book. (metaphorically).

p.s : As before, a novice of the game feels like cannon fodder. And it's damn nice!

Oh damn yeah. Something like the Halo series, but on GRIP. The second player could have a small turret for him to use.
Not sure how feasible this would be, but great idea :D

I loved the Rollcage games growing up in the PSX and the PC, can't even tell you guys how many times I played the demo on PC before buying Stage II, I understand this game is not the direct sequel of Stage II, but I played the hell out of Scramble mode and would love to see a new version or better of it, These kind of cars are complimented using those tracks or more, hell I buy if it was an extended Add-on.

I was wondering if any news popped up about this game and posted it online and another member told me about grip and bought it instantly. Hopefully a mode similar to scramble would be great! I have played playground for hours on end and last night finally got all 43 icons... this game is great.

if you have anything you would like to say, you have a search bar to see if someone already spoken about it, scramble topic is old and yes, it will be in grip, maybe not in sky or something, but definitely a platformer.

Scramble is way better in the sky, it took nerves of skills to get Gold on all tracks!

Also I've come up with an idea that may be impossible to implement, how about team vs team multiplayer split/screen mode? which simply put is 4 players on one pc vs team of other 4 split/screen players online.

I'd like to see the arcade-part to be broken into 2 different modes. One would be single race. Other component would be called arcade. It would resemble playing in the arcade, as in you have to win the race to proceed the next one. Maybe there could be a credit system: winning would give you 1 credit, 2nd-3rd place +0 credits and 4th-> you would lose a credit. You could start with 1 credit for example. There could be different "cups" or whatever you call 'em, featuring 4-6 stages each getting progressively harder.

The reason I propose this, is that it would bring pretty much to the table, and (I assume?) it wouldn't be that hard to implement. Myself, for example, (and I believe many other people) often times have like 30 - 60 minutes to play and I don't feel like doing any "career/campaign/whatever commitment" stuff, just a quick game session. Single race for that purpose is great, but this arcade mode would be a little more than just a single race, but sort of "lighter" than a career mode would be. It would be more of a challenge than a single race, and you'd feel you did good when you beat that arcade mode (the last one would be really hard).

That sounds a lot like the Survivor mode in Rollcage Stage 2. I like it !

Idea 1:
I'd like to see a gamemode similar to hot potato. One car starts with the "Potato" as well as a slight speed boost and must transfer the "potato" to one of the other cars before it explodes killing said car. everytime a car dies, a new "potato" is randomly given to a new car with a progressively shorter and shorter time/fuse on the bomb. this process will repeat until only 1 car is left.

Idea 2:
Some form of capture the flag. when you have the flag, your vehicle has a speed restriction, as well as when you get hit by missile/machine guns you drop the flag and are stunned for a few seconds. option for the flag to return to base when picked up by flags team, or have the flag remain where it was last dropped.

I'd also like to see sprint style (point A to point B) races added to the game.

We've actually got plans to include all of these game types, except hot potato is an Arena game mode called "time bomb" and the point to point mode is "Survival"

What i think is missing, is those Trial tracks from Rollcage 2, or should i say coffe runs. they where amazing. they where called scramble in rollcage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXQ6LSElVww . i remember if you beated all the scrambles you would be rewarded with a fast vehicle.

the best way to further develope those tracks is to add multiplayer in it and race against the time, by making multiple tracks in a single event

Our playground mode will have challenges in it that are similar to scramble mode in RCS2. Looking forward to getting that mode fleshed out

What about some races with huge numbers of competitors? Like 64 cars on the track. This might be fun as hell. Perhaps it's worthwhile to increase the spawn rate of pickups in this mode.

This might also be special events in the course of the career mode.

This could be pretty intresting. But with the weapons maybe also very annoying.

super sonic mode, like, the whole soundtrack of the game is speed-up, the cars move like if you fast-forward a video.

the color pallete changes to candy crush and the only pick ups dropping are emps and miniguns

What about a double cockpit mode?
The GRIP machines are HUGE so to save strain on controlng these monsters, drivers team up. One driver controls the Accelerator, brake and powerups. While another controls the steering.
It may not be the most inspired gamemode but I think the skill and teamwork required in this mode will add a unique twist to racers looking to spide things up!
