Muh reaction 2 u:
Spoiler: show
Bloody Tears, always.
E1M1 is one of the few songs that play quite well on a floppy jukebox. I'm not gonna bother with linking a video 'cause microphones don't pick up the bass at all, but rest assured it's the cause of many a nerdgasm (rivaled only by Daft Punk's Aerodynamic guitar solo in 14-floppy drive awesomeness).
Soul Reaver's atmosphere is like 80% soundtrack. Great taste.
The Stage II tracks don't count. They're licensed songs :p

10(+) years oldschool enough?
Muh list:
Spoiler: show
Working my way through the Phoenix Wright games, so... OBJECTION!
System Shock 2 Soundtrack: Ops 2
Half Life 2 - CP Violation (I like Portal - Self-Esteem Fund better, but it's only 9 years old :p)
Jeroen Tel's Hawkeye for C64 (I dislike most pre-1990 video game music because of the limited hardware composers had to deal with (PC speaker bleeps, meh), but the C64 had an awesome SID)
Katamari Damacy - Ronery Rorring Star
Silent Hill - Not Tomorrow
Jazz Jackrabbit - Diamondus
Beneath a Steel Sky - Belle Vue
Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun - Valves
Advance Wars Dual Strike - That's a Wrap!
Streets of Rage 2 - Go Straight

Wrob3l probably remembers the video game music thread I had up on rollcage.broscar.nl. I might copypaste some of those in here after I hook up my server again, but all in due time. I'm more interested in other people's memoriesmusic right now :p

Jets 'n' Guns ( Death from Above Missiles of Metal )

All from the swedish elektro (SID)/powermetal Band Machinae Supremacy. Which by the way give a lot of their music (like this Ost) away for free.

Hotline Miami Retro not Oldschool so what? Moon - Hydrogen Perturbator - Miami Disco Scattle - Inner Animal

Golden Axe II

The House of the Dead

Entire soundtrack from Colin McRae Rally 2.0, but especially the menu theme, which IMO is the best menu theme ever.

I agree the 'New Retro Wave' rocks

LazerHawk - King of The Streets is also a good one.

So i guess you have seen Drive then? The Movie itself is extremly retro. But sadly the driving is not that good.

Or Kung Fury if were already on it.

Some more Oldschool Game Music:

Turn your speakers real loud for this one.
Intro of Gunship on an amiga. (The Intro sucks on all other plattforms apparently.)
I never got very far in this game because i never understood the controls.

Oh man. When it comes to old school vidya game music, I love F-Zero for the snes. That game tops my favorite racing game of all time (Sorry rollcage and grip)
F-Zero-Big Blue (SNES)
F-Zero-Sand Ocean (SNES)
Megaman X had a pretty bitchin soundtrack too.
Megaman X-Stage Selection (SNES)
Megaman X-Storm Eagle's Stage
Megaman X-Spark Mandrill's Stage

Some various classics
Megaman-Elecman's Stage
Super Mario Bros 2-Overworld Theme
Sonic The Hedgehog 2-Hidden Palace Zone
Final Fantasy 7-One Winged Angle

I'll also leave this here
I didn't even know what was in the splatter pack before I bought it.

Wow, that one sounds similar to other oldschool music and still appears to be modern.
Really enjoy that soundtrack. Thanks.
