Poll: What music genres do you want to hear in Grip?

id like to hear some Drumstep, Liquid Drum and bass as well as some breakbeat they would all fit in nicely with what's there already

Drum n bass for racing. But for menu and such there can be anything. For example i would prefer "Crash city" to be online multiplayer lobby theme.

Also, "Pull the trigger" by Black Sun Empire and State of Mind is veeeery GRIPey. Like...Totally.

Frankly I still feel like Klayton of Celldweller would be totally down to make a track for this game. He doesn't really fall into any of these categories specifically, but he does specialize in creating music for sci-fi environments.

I know the game will have a jukebox and whatnot to put our own tunes in there and everyone is probably well past the point of adding new music, but I feel like he'd be willing to make an original track for the game given its unique sci-fi setting. It'd be a dream come true for a dream game come true

Did you know that these songs were in RC2 (at least ps1 version, did the PC version have different tracks, I don't know?)

RC2 (ps1) soundtrack is really awesome. Made me fall in love with DnB

Something more intense maybe? My only problem is with the already existing tracks that I kinda miss the punchiness in them. But that's just my taste ofc.

I enjoy diversity, we got strong songs, but we lack that kind of music Xtigma did, and the one I've shown.

I still would like to have powerful songs though, But I'd rather see something more climatic.

You can see I've put a timer on the link so it plays the drop as I wanted people to see it without need to search for it.

I know a lot of people i have shared music with, and they always been skipping half of the song just to hear the drop and they usually missed that part and disliked the song afterwards.

It`s called NeuroFunk, its a subgenre of drum`n`bass. One of the oldest actually, formerly known as Techstep. Everything started with this track In the 1998.
